Hey everyone — I’m Kevin and food has been my lifelong playground. As a kid growing up, most of my friends were outside playing with Tonka trucks while I was inside playing with tupperware. I would set up my imaginary kitchen, create my imaginary restaurant, and serve my imaginary guests. Little did I know this would become my life's passion.... a career that has spanned over four decades.

After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute in 1992, my thirst for knowledge was insatiable. I dove headfirst into every aspect of the industry — from fine dining and butcher shops to breweries and country clubs. I spent over 30 years as an Executive Chef and 22 years running a family-owned business, mastering not only the technical side of cuisine but also the leadership, creativity, and adaptability it takes to thrive under pressure. My career has taught me one essential truth: every dish tells a story... a tale of ingredients and they are meant to be shared.

Today, I serve as the House Chef for the Pi Beta Phi sorority at the University of Nevada, Reno — a role that blends my love for cooking with the joy of mentoring young minds. The incredible women I cook for at the sorority have become like family, and their energy fuels my passion for creativity and connection through food.

You might also know me from social media where I’ve somehow grown a following of over 8 million food-loving fans. What started as a simple way to share my passion turned into something much bigger — a global community that’s been with me through highs, lows, and even a battle with stage 4 cancer. This journey has taught me that authenticity resonates. I don’t just create recipes — I teach confidence in the kitchen. My philosophy is simple: there are no rules in cooking. If it tastes good at the end of the day and people clean their plates, you did it right.

When I’m not behind the stove, you’ll find me spending time with my two amazing daughters, Carli and Kenna, my feline sous chefs Gus and Lucy, and my beautiful girlfriend Katie.
